What dog breed has the highest attack rate?
It's no secret that dog attacks are a serious problem. According to the CDC, there were over 4.5 million dog bites in 2018 alone. And that number is only going up as our population increases and more people own dogs!

So what dog breed has the highest attack rate? According to a new study published in the Journal of Clinical Psychology, it's Labrador Retrievers. The study looked at data from 2008-2016, and found that Labradors were responsible for more than 30% of all dog bites in the United States during that time period. In fact, Labs were involved in more than half of all fatal dog attacks and almost 70% of severe ones (where people required surgery).
The second most dangerous breed was
2-German Shepherds
followed by Rottweilers
3-Pit Bulls
4-Doberman Pinschers
5-Chihuahuas
6-Pugs
7-Bloodhounds
8-Great Danes
