Adam Irving, CEO
Prior to joining Animal Cell Therapies, Adam enjoyed an 18 year sales and sales management career where he held a variety of leadership positions at Pfizer, Boston Scientific, Guidant, FoxHollow and CSI. His successful track record is largely in the medical device heart and vascular arena. Adam has directed numerous clinical research projects, managed top enrolling centers, navigated the introduction of pioneering technologies and launched disruptive commercial products while leading sharply focused teams.
Most recently Adam rose through the ranks at Cardiovascular Systems where he earned the role of Director of Sales leading a high performance sales team of approximately 150 people in total. Adam was a part of the original leadership team of 6 people that was instrumental in fund raising, OASIS trial completion, FDA approval, product development and commercialization followed by strategic U.S. scale. Prior to commercialization, Adam led his peers in fund raising efforts by securing nearly $3 million in capital. After a successful launch, year 1 sales surpassed $43 million which arguably is the fastest, most explosive revenue ramp in medical device history. Under Adam’s direction CSI’s Diamondback 360 device became the industry’s most utilized atherectomy device for lower extremity revascularization. Adam graduated from Louisiana Tech University with a BA in Speech Communication.
Kathy Petrucci, DVM, Founder and CSO – Dr. Kathryn Petrucci brings together a scientific, business, and international background to Sprinks. After spending two years overseas in Vienna, Austria, working for the United Nations Industrial Development Organization, she worked as an investment executive for Dean Witter and Piper Jaffray for four years. While at Piper Jaffray, she won awards for the Pace Setters club and the VIP council and was at the top of her production class for three years. She also attended one year of MBA School at University of St. Thomas School of Business in St. Paul, MN.The love for science and animals drew her to Veterinary School where she graduated in 2003 from the University of MN College of Veterinary Medicine with a DVM degree. She spent five years in private practice at a progressive small animal practice in San Francisco developing skills in internal medicine, ultrasound, surgery, endoscopy, dentistry and oncology. She also took several courses in advanced veterinary dentistry.
Dr. Petrucci’s ongoing passion for veterinary medicine and veterinary science have prompted her professional interests into the area of stem cell research, thus, becoming proficient in the growth, expansion and differentiation of mesenchymal stem cells. Presently, Dr. Petrucci is researching stem cell therapeutic applications in animals.
Christina Bonner Director of Operations – Christina currently holds the position of Operations Manager at Animal Cell Therapies Inc. located in San Diego, California. Christina directs all operations within the company and handles inventory of all products. Since joining ACT, her accomplishments have included designing the layout and functionality of the ACT warehouse, along with implementation of Standard Operating Procedures. She has worked closely with the National Animal Supplement Council and attended training seminars in order to ensure that the company is running on the highest quality standards. She also has compiled the companies Quality Control Manual and passed the National Animal Supplement Councils Audit, giving ACT their benchmark of quality seal. Christina graduated from California State University, San Marcos with a degree in Communication. Christina started pursuing her career and goals very young, she was a member on a Board of Directors at the age of 18 for a non-profit company called Youth Experiencing Sobriety where she experienced firsthand how a non-profit organization is put together from the ground up. Through her years of college she worked in the hospitality industry where she won multiple awards for Top Sales and honed in on her skills of networking, being a team player and communication.
Nicole Lewis Customer Care Coordinator – Nicole handles all sales and customer-service-related issues within the company. Nicole was ecstatic to move to San Diego with all its sun and glory. Joining the Sprinks team in March 2009, Nicole has thus far earned her Associate’s Transfer degree and is currently finishing up her Bachelor’s degree in Communications with a minor in Marketing. She brings a vast knowledge of customer relations to Sprinks from prior work as a pageant consultant with National American Miss. When Nicole’s not in the office or out around town at one of Sprinks events, you can find her boogie boarding at the beach, in a yoga studio, or laughing at her three cats, Bosco, Nima, and Disco (why watch TV when you have three cats?).
